Use either the invitation code or the temporary PIN — you do not need both. The invitation code is the persistent way to identify the Lobby and can be shared in advance; the temporary PIN is just a quick alternative that lasts about 60 seconds, does not start the challenge, and does not bypass account, entitlement or payment requirements. Every player still needs their own legitimate access to the Trail -- already owning it, their available free Trail, or purchasing it through the normal checkout. The host starts the challenge from the Lobby once everyone has joined.

How it works

Open a Treasure Trail you ownAny live Trail you own, have started, or completed -- you don't need to restart or finish your solo playthrough.

Select Challenge FriendsPress the CHALLENGE FRIENDS button on that Trail's game board (or its Start page) to open a private Lobby with an invitation code.

Share either the invitation code or temporary PINFriends can use either one to find the same Lobby -- they'll still need their own access to the same Trail.

Wait for friends to join the LobbyYou'll see each player appear in the Lobby as they join.

The host starts the challenge when everyone is readyOnly the host can start it -- once started, everyone competes from the same official start time and no one else can join.

Compare resultsFastest clean finish wins -- ties are broken by fewer wrong answers, then fewer credits used.
